Let's celebrate the incredible contributions of our women veterans at our special recognition day event at GSU! In the celebration of Women Veterans Recognition Day — observed every year on June 12 — we honor the brave and bold women who have paved the way since the signing of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act in 1948. Cultures, Communities & Inclusion (CCI) and Military Outreach invite you to join us Wednesday, June 11, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. as we recognize and celebrate women veterans and gain insights into their remarkable stories, service and experiences — in the military and beyond. This empowering event will be an afternoon of meaningful fellowship, female empowerment and fostering a sense of belonging at GSU. Event Highlights Include:

- Networking Lunch: Chat, chew and connect over a free catered lunch.

- Honoring HER Story: Celebrate the stories and honor the sacrifices of our women veterans who have bravely served our country.

- Keynote Speaker: Hear an inspiring story from a woman veteran who will share their journey and the challenges faced by women in the military.

- Community Connection: Build connections with fellow sisters-in-service and community partners who share a commitment to making a difference.

- Resources and Raffle Prizes: Get there early to engage with community resources and get a hold of a complimentary goodie bag for the first 100 people. \
