 hose work has shaped the field for decades. He will discuss his recent res
 earch on unions and collective bargaining\, building on his extensive scho
 larship on earnings inequality. \n\nThomas Lemieux is a professor at the V
 ancouver School of Economics at the University of British Columbia. He rec
 eived his Ph.D. in economics from Princeton University. Lemieux researches
  the issue of earnings inequality worldwide\, as well as the econometric m
 ethods used to analyze the earnings distribution and regression discontinu
 ity designs.\n\nPlease join us after the lecture at 4:30 p.m. for a recept
