Be a part of strengthening and celebrating U.S.-Japanese relations during an evening of cultural exchange. Since 2014, the “Walk in U.S., Talk on Japan” Program has connected prominent Japanese representatives with communities across the U.S.. From senior government officials to business leaders and the 2019 Co-Chair of the Davos Symposium, the delegation will share their stories about Japan and their perspectives on U.S.-Japanese relations.
This year’s delegation will include:
- Dr. Tomohiko Taniguchi, Professor at Keio University Graduate School of System Design and Management; Special Advisor to Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s Cabinet
- Mr. Yasunori Nakayama, Acting Director General, Japan Institute of International Affairs (JIIA) (Former Consul-General of Japan in Toronto)
- Ms. Makoto Kuroda, Senior Analyst, Credit Suisse Securities (Japan)
- Ms. Akira Sakano, Chair of the Board, Zero Waste Academy (NPO) (2019 Co-Chair of Davos Symposium)
