The U.S. Civil Rights Movement Sites Symposium will focus on new ways of interpreting civil rights movement sites featuring the work of the International Coalition of Sites of Conscience (ICSC). DAY 1, 4/10/2025, includes an opening session with ICSU. A reception follows and then Keynote Speaker Susan M. Glisson, founder and director of the Welcome Table Collaborative based at The BIG We in Memphis, TN, will discuss her work with racial reconciliation and public memory. Join us for DAY 2 as well.
