The eighth annual Georgia State University Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Preliminary Round Competition 2024.

Master’s and Doctoral finalists across various fields will compete separately, and each have exactly 3 minutes to present their research in a clear and compelling way.

7 Masters & 7 Doctoral will advance to the Final Round on March 27th. 

The 3MT is an academic competition that challenges Master's and PhD students to describe their research within three minutes to a general audience. 3MT celebrates the discoveries made by research students and encourages their skill in communicating the importance of research to the broader community.
