 am link. A live viewing link will be sent prior to the event.\n\nAbout the
  Event: Master’s and doctoral finalists across various fields will compe
 te separately\, with each having exactly three minutes to present their re
 search in a clear and compelling way. Judges will award first\, second and
  third place to the best presenters in each category. The audience will ca
 st their vote for the People's Choice winner.\n\nWhat is 3MT? The 3MT is a
 n academic competition that challenges master's and Ph.D. students to desc
 ribe their research within three minutes to a general audience. 3MT celebr
 ates the discoveries made by research students and encourages their skill 
 in communicating the importance of research to the broader community.\n\nL
