Wealth inequality in the US is at an all-time high, and Atlanta is one of the top cities dealing with it. Across all measures of household financial security, households of color are faring worse than White households in Atlanta. Almost 70% of Black families are liquid asset poor compared to 22% of White families.

The Metro Atlanta Chamber (MAC) is taking action to combat this gap.

Katie Kirkpatrick, President and CEO of MAC, will join the World Affairs Council of Atlanta to talk about The Racial Equity Action Plan. This initiative seeks to dismantle systemic racism and solve our region’s most pressing problem by catalyzing racial equity and mobility through corporate policies, inclusive economic development, education, and workforce development.

In celebration of #InternationalWomensMonth2021, Kirkpatrick will also discuss her experience as a female leader in Atlanta and how she broke glass ceilings in male-dominated sectors

This program will be moderated by Naima Judge, Managing Director & Market Investment Executive at Bank of America Private Bank.

OPEN AND COMPLIMENTARY TO ALL.
