Generative AI has the potential to both expand and shut down the reach of untrue political messaging. We’ve already seen an example of this with Elon Musk’s altered Kamala Harris ad. Now that we’re approaching the election in November, this trend will likely increase. How can we help students partner with AI to be more critical political media consumers and producers? This interactive session will use the 2024 Horizon report as a jumping off point. You’ll walk away with an activity that you can integrate into your face to face, hybrid, or online courses.
