This presentation will take a deep dive into Lang’s strategies, moving beyond “Retrieval” to techniques such as “Interleaving,” “Prediction” and “Self-Explaining.” We will discuss what these interventions can look like in different disciplines as well how they work in both face-to-face and virtual classrooms. Participants will leave the workshop with new evidence-based strategies for teaching that are highly effective yet easy to integrate into any course.
