The Sustainability Across the Curriculum Workshop is an initiative to integrate sustainability across the various academic disciplines.

This Two-day workshop (May 1 and May 2, 10 am to 3 pm) will provide GSU faculty members with tools and strategies to incorporate sustainability topics into their curriculum, regardless of the discipline. It will cover approaches such as embedding case studies, project-based learning, simulations, and experiential learning activities, as well as developing effective assessments to enhance student engagement and foster critical thinking on environmental, economic, and social responsibilities.

A particular focus will be placed on engaging faculty from underrepresented disciplines to promote equitable access to sustainability education.  Faculty from any GSU campus are invited and encouraged to attend.

Participants will benefit from the expertise and support of GSU’s Sustainability Initiatives Office, as well as from Industry Practitioners and experts with approaches and practical resources for implementing sustainability-focused teaching.
