Study Abroad South Africa - Storytelling in Public Health and Related Fields June 1st-20th
Storytelling is a powerful tool for public health and related social sciences to connect data with human experiences. South Africa is an excellent base to explore storytelling while learning about the country's modern history and public health context. We will travel to Johannesburg and Cape Town, which provide different cultural and natural landscapes to apply course concepts through daily interactions with communities and partners, excursions, and field work (i.e., photo shoots and storytelling) that will build to your creation of a personal digital story.
