The College of Education & Human Development's Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic will host its 50th Anniversary Lecture on Wednesday, Oct. 22, at 12 p.m. in CEHD room 1030. 

Natalie Douglas, associate professor of communicative disorders at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, will give a presentation entitled, “Advancing Care and Practice through Implementation and Dissemination Science." 

This presentation will provide an overview of implementation and dissemination science, highlighting the concepts and approaches that guide how evidence is translated into practice. The session will introduce common frameworks and research methods and show how they apply in clinical and educational contexts. Examples will illustrate how implementation and dissemination science can be used to strengthen care delivery, support professional practice and improve outcomes across different stages of life.
