The History Department of Georgia State University invites you to the upcoming Somers Lecture on April 4 at 10 a.m. in Room 2150 of 25 Park Place at the Atlanta campus. This year’s lecture will be given by Mary Lindemann, Professor Emerita at the University of Miami and past-president of the American Historical Association and the German Studies Association. The title of her talk will be: “The ‘Industrial’ Landscape of Brandenburg-Prussia after the Thirty Years War, 1648-1720: An Environmental History.”
