The Georgia State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble invites audiences on a musical journey across continents and cultures with "Transcontinental Treasures." The program opens with Benjamin Horne's "Kingdom" (2024), conducted by Jacob Brown, followed by movements two and four of Zhou Tian's expansive "Sinfonia" (2022). The concert continues with Luigi Zaninelli's tender "Lagan Love" and concludes with Ida Gotkovsky's dramatic "Poème du Feu" — a work of blazing orchestral color and virtuosic brilliance. Admission is free and open to the public.
