View map Free EventThe Georgia State University Symphonic Wind Ensemble presents Homage, an evening celebrating the depth and breadth of the contemporary wind band repertoire. The program features Paul Dooley's Canticles, a work of profound lyricism, alongside the U.S. premiere of Peter Meechan's Red Shoe Vignettes (2026), conducted by Julianna Pinero. The concert continues with J.S. Bach's timeless Fantasia in G, arranged by Goldman, and concludes with Roshanne Etezady's powerful Anahita — a sweeping work inspired by ancient Persian mythology.
Admission is free and open to the public.
