The Georgia State University School of Music presents its brass chamber ensembles in concert. Coached by members of the brass faculty, these student groups perform repertoire drawn from across the brass chamber literature, from Renaissance canzonas to contemporary works written for quintet and larger ensembles.
Chamber music asks players to listen closely and lead in equal measure, and this concert offers a look at how that work develops over a semester of rehearsal.
This event is free and open to the public.
