Hello Panthers! Student Health Promotion launched their #SleepWellPanthers 101 iCollege course last fall 2023 and we would like to invite everyone interested can request to be added to the course by filling out the iCollege Course Request Form. After students complete the request form a Health Educator will reach out to the students letting them know they can access their course on iCollege.

The course will take approximately 60 minutes to complete and includes a #SleepWellPanthers introduction video, a reading assignment from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the American Academy for Sleep Medicine, our BeWellPanthers YouTube page #SleepWellPanthers playlist, information about Wellness Coaching and a brief assessment. 

After students complete the course, they will be required to complete an assessment, and if interested in receiving a free sleep kit they can also fill out the request form. Lastly, students will be added to PIN after they complete the course for PIN rewards.

The sleep kit includes items to improve the quality of your sleep. After students complete the iCollege #SleepWellPanthers 101 course, please select a maximum of three items that you would like in your personal sleep kit (or) they can choose one #BeWellPanthers pillow:

Sleep mask: Decreases light stimulation for better sleep.

Chapstick: Keep your lips hydrated and comfortable for better sleep.

Earplugs: Reduce sleep disruption by eliminating noise. 

Lotion: Induce a relaxed mind through calming smells for the olfactory senses. 

Room spray: Use your senses with a relaxing room spray to set the ambiance for sleep.

Fuzzy socks: Keep your feet warm and cozy to sleep.

Only the #BeWellPanthers pillow instead of the three items.
