Prospective students interested in studying music at Georgia State University are invited to audition or interview for admission to the School of Music. Audition and interview days provide opportunities to meet faculty and current students, explore campus and learn more about degree programs, scholarships and student life in downtown Atlanta.

Applicants pursuing the Bachelor of Music degree will complete a live audition as part of the admissions process. Students applying to the Bachelor of Science degree programs will complete an interview and may choose either a live audition or digital portfolio submission as their method of entrance.

Audition and portfolio requirements vary by concentration and instrument/voice area. Applicants should complete both the University application and School of Music application through Acceptd prior to their selected audition or interview date.
