  and political scientists about the challenges and opportunities we curren
 tly face in safeguarding our democracy and the rule of law. Among other th
 ings\, we will hear from Republicans\, Democrats\, independents and nonpar
 tisan groups about the work they are doing to ensure a free\, fair and ord
 erly election this fall. We will address many questions\, including:\n\n
 ​\n\nIs there a realistic threat of fraud this fall?\n\nDo we need to wo
 rry about voter suppression?\n\nWhat happens if officials do not certify t
 he election in a timely manner?\n\nWhat can ordinary citizens do to help p
 rotect voting rights?\n\nHow do our democratic troubles compare and relate
  to the global decline in democracy?​\n\nWhat can we do to safeguard our
  democracy and the rule of law now and for the future?\n\n​​\n\nThis e
