About this Event

https://rialto.gsu.edu/rialto-film-series/Films are back at the Rialto! Join us Thursday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. as we launch the new Rialto Film Series with Mel Brooks’ classic comedy "Young Frankenstein" (1974).
Starring Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman and Madeline Kahn, this hilarious homage to classic horror films follows Dr. Frederick Frankenstein as he reluctantly embraces his infamous family legacy and discovers that bringing the dead back to life just might run in the family.
Come early and make a night of it. Before the film, explore HARRY UNDERWOOD: The Design of Destiny, currently on view in the Rialto lobby. The exhibition features Underwood’s dreamlike paintings, which blend mid-century imagery with handwritten reflections on life, longing and human nature.
Then grab your popcorn, settle in and enjoy a comedy favorite on the big screen in the heart of downtown Atlanta.
