Research Speed Dating

The Global Studies Institute will host a coffee morning (a light breakfast will be provided) to all faculty and researchers interested in exploring new collaborations across the university. The event will resemble a "speed dating" exercise - all attendees will be provided an opportunity to highlight their research via a series of "rapid fire" presentations to the broader GSU family. Attendees will be invited to present a 60-second overview of:

  • Research in which they are currently interested/engaged
  • Research ideas or areas for future exploration (in which potential collaboration might be welcome)

Whether you are an actively engaged researcher, or are getting back into developing a research profile, ALL are welcome. We hope that by providing an accessible, fun way to highlight your research, it will be an opportunity not only for others to know who you are and what you do, but also to make new connections that, you never know, might lead to some interesting and interdisciplinary collaborations!
