"re:Percussions: A Georgia State University and Community Music Centers of Atlanta Collaborative Project"

re:Percussions brings together the Georgia State University School of Music, Georgia State Perimeter College, and the Community Music Centers of Atlanta (CMC) in a collaborative concert celebrating creativity, education, and community engagement. The program features the world premiere of a new work for found percussion and wind ensemble by GSU alumnus Marcus Moore, performed by a combined GSU–Perimeter wind ensemble alongside elementary-aged percussionists from CMC.

The project was envisioned and initiated by Emily Bridges, an undergraduate student in the GSU School of Music, and realized through the collaborative efforts of faculty and staff across all partner institutions.

Free and open to the public.
