HOW-TOs OF QUICK DATA HELP:
-
Schedule your appointment at this link under Research Data Services (RDS) section: https://rooms.library.gsu.edu/appointments/
-
Quick Data Help is in the Library’s CURVE space (2nd floor of Library South building).
-
You are allowed a single 25-minute consult within a 2-hour shift.
-
If an RDS member determines that your need:
-
cannot be addressed within a 25-minute session: They will ask that you contact them via email to schedule an appointment for a different day and longer period.
-
would be better addressed by another RDS member: They will recommend that you attend the other RDS member’s data-help shift or that you contact them via email to schedule an appointment for a different day and longer period.
-
does not fall within RDS’s Scope of Services Guidelines: They will communicate as such, and you may contact the RDS Department Head, Dr. Mandy Swygart-Hobaugh if you have further questions. See RDS Scope of Services Guidelines here.
We welcome appointments outside of our Quick Data Help shifts, too – both in-person and virtual – email an RDS member directly or email libdatahelp@gsu.edu to ask. Check out our website at LIB.GSU.EDU/DATA for all the ways we can help you learn data skills and tools!
