About this Event
30 Pryor Street, Atlanta, GA
https://principalscenter.education.gsu.edu/what-we-offer/cohort-series/The role of the kindergarten through 12th-grade assistant principal today requires an educational leader who is both an instructional and curricular leader as well as a leader who can juggle the many other demands of their position.
The purpose of the Seminar for Assistant Principals is to support these leaders as they build capacity to enhance student learning and create success for their schools and for themselves while assuming a leadership role alongside the principal.
The seminar will help participants identify their areas of focus, establish priorities and develop their plans for growth and greater success incorporating Georgia Leader, School and Teacher Keys and the CCGPS. Through a research-based curriculum, participants will focus on using multiple approaches to solving leadership challenges, supporting teaching and learning in the classroom, and leading and managing their schools more effectively.
