Faculty planning to apply for a Research Initiation (RIG) or Scholarly Support internal grant can learn more about what characterizes the most competitive internal grant proposals. This session will cover key elements that differentiate RIG from Scholarly Support proposals. In addition, the session will cover the most common issues in poorly-rated internal grant proposals as a guide to what to avoid when writing an internal grant.

Faculty should bring any questions that have about the program and the process to have them addressed during this session. These internal grants are sponsored by the Office of the Vice President for Research & Economic Development.

Registration is free and managed via Eventbrite. You must have an Eventbrite account to register, but they are easy to set up at no cost. Click on the "Register" button to the right to get started.
