Pounce Around Perimeter is an interactive campus experience designed to help students explore key offices, discover valuable resources, and become more connected to the PC Decatur community. During this event, students will travel across campus, stopping by various departments to learn about the services and opportunities available to support their academic and personal success.

One featured stop on the tour is the Career Services Office, where students can gain insight into the many tools and resources available to support their career development from their first semester through graduation. The Career Services team provides guidance on résumé writing, interview preparation, internship and job searches, and overall professional growth.

At the Career Services stop, students will be introduced to:

• VMock: An AI-powered résumé review tool that delivers instant, personalized feedback to help improve and strengthen resumes.
• Handshake: A career platform for finding internships and jobs, registering for events, and connecting directly with employers.
• Steppingblocks: A data-driven resource that helps students explore career paths, understand industry trends, and identify in-demand skills.
• Career Closet: A resource offering access to professional attire so students can feel confident and prepared for interviews and career events.
• Professional Headshots: Opportunities to obtain polished headshots for use on LinkedIn and other professional platforms.

Pounce Around Perimeter encourages students to actively engage with campus resources, ask questions, and take meaningful steps toward their academic and career goals—all while becoming more familiar with the campus environment.
