INSTRUCTIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN JUNE SUPERIOR COURT SWEARING-IN CEREMONY

 

  • Hand deliver your original Certificate of Eligibility from the Supreme Court of Georgia Board of Bar Examiners to the address below.

  • All certificates should be hand-delivered no later than 2 pm on Thursday, June 3. 

 

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT TO DELIVER YOUR DOCUMENTS TO THE LAW SCHOOL.  PLEASE NOTE THAT AN APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED!

APPOINTMENT DATES AND TIMES:

  • Tuesday, June 1 from 8 am – 2 pm
  • Wednesday, June 2 from 8 am – 2 pm
  • Thursday, June 3 from 8 am – 2 pm

 

Applications submitted after the June 3rd deadline will not be accepted due to the court processing deadline.  

 

  • After delivering your original certificate as detailed above, you are eligible to participate in the Superior Court Swearing-in Ceremony. The link to participate, via Zoom, will be provided to you by Maria Johnson.

 

  • Friday, June 11 - Virtually arrive and log on to the Zoom link by 9:45 a.m. sharp to participate in the Swearing-in Ceremony. Please note that you will be in the Zoom waiting room until the program begins. To participate your audio and video must be connected and working properly.

 

Dress:  Business attire is required for participants in the swearing-in ceremony.

 

  • Following the ceremony you will receive an email from Nick Cotten, Fulton County Superior Court, asking for your signature via docusign.

 

Please be mindful that your membership application to the State Bar of Georgia cannot be submitted until the swearing-in order has been signed by all parties. 

 

  • After June 11, you will receive the link of the recorded swearing-in ceremony to share with your family and friends.
