GSU maintains its standing as one of the best schools for undergraduate education and as a leader in innovation by embracing thoughtful teaching practices. High Impact Practices enhance student learning by providing them with opportunities to engage more deeply with authentic assignments that mirror what they might encounter when they leave the classroom.  This session will introduce new Faculty to HIPs, provide GSU resources for HIPs, and share examples of HIP assignments/assessments. HIPs are an important part of GSU's strategic plan and incorporating these practices qualifies as an example of a student success activity.
