A growing number of researchers have directed their attention to the study of dirty money. Not only has dirty money inspired work throughout the social sciences and the humanities, but its ability to permeate fictional enterprises and news headlines testify to its significance in the everyday world. In this talk, I will draw on my research involving infants, children, and adults to provide an overview on why people are averse to dirty money. My hope is that this talk will encourage new and exciting conversations on this topic with vast and important implications.
