Capstone Abstract: This environmental scan was an ecological synthesis of determinants driving inequitable access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) among Black and Latino men who have sex with men (BLMSM) across the levels of the Social Ecological Model (SEM): microsystem (individual-level), mesosystem (interpersonal-level), exosystem (community-level), and macrosystem (structural-level). The results from this scan can advance community engagement around HIV biomedical prevention through a culturally sensitive approach for BLMSM across multiple ecological tiers.
