Join us for our Mastering Online Teaching: Design for All Series!

This self-paced series of individual courses focuses on key elements of digital course accessibility and is designed to help Georgia State Faculty reach and support the widest range of students possible.

Badges are earned upon completing each course and its assessment!

Mastering Online Teaching: iCollege & Web Accessibility is designed to help you ensure your online courses or materials meet the technical standards that make them accessible. In this course, you'll learn to:

  • Format text and content to meet WCAG standards
  • Write image descriptions for blind students
  • Caption videos using GSU's Kaltura Media 
  • Use accessibility checkers to achieve WCAG and ADA-compliance

 

The course opens June 22nd and runs until June 26th with time after for submitting the final assessment. Though, it’s a self-paced course, so you may finish earlier if you choose.

Register today by selecting Register, this will open the course's iLearn registration page.  Log into iCollege if prompted.  Then on the iLearn Course information page select Enroll in Course.  After that you'll find teh course in your My Courses widget on the iCollege home page.  Once registered you'll be all set for accessing the course and content when it opens on June  22nd.
