About this Event
Mastering Online Teaching (MOT) course is a four-week, asynchronous, online mini-course delivered through iCollege and taught by staff at the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
The goal of this course is to introduce the fundamentals of online course design and delivery to faculty who are new to teaching online. In the process, participants will construct a Welcome Module, at least one content module, and detailed plans for developing the remainder of their online course.
All Georgia State University instructors and graduate teaching assistants are welcome to participate in MOT Fundamentals. Full participation will require roughly ten hours of engagement each week, although the required time could vary widely depending on instructor experience with the learning tools, if faculty choose to participate in supplemental live webinars, and the amount of content the instructor develops for the sample course. Instructors who successfully complete MOT course assignments will receive a digital badge.
Registrants should use their GSU employee email addresses rather than personal email addresses.
