A literary reading with Camonghne Felix, who will be giving a literary reading on our campus on election day: Nov. 5, 4:30 pm, in the Troy Moore Library (25 Park Avenue NE, 23rd floor). Camonghne Felix is an American writer, poet, and communications strategist. She is the author of Dyscalculia: A Love Story of Epic Miscalculation, hailed by TIME Magazine and Vogue is one of the most anticipated books of 2023. Her poetry debut, Build Yourself a Boat, was long-listed for the 2019 National Book Award in Poetry. In 2015, she was appointed as Governor Andrew Cuomo's speechwriter, and was the first black woman and youngest person to serve in the role. She is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing, Multi-Genre at The New School in New York City. This event is free and open to the public.
