Jack Thorpe (saxophone) and Miya Suen (piano) will perform a faculty recital. This faculty recital will consist of a mixture of traditional saxophone repertoire and more experimental contemporary repertoire to demonstrate the versatility of the saxophone as an instrument. The recital will feature works by David Maslanka, Yaz Lancaster, Amy Quate, Doina Rotaru, and Alfred Desenclos.
