Ready to lead with purpose and connect with changemakers? Leaders for a Cause (LFC) is more than a leadership program. It’s a launchpad for impact! Facilitated by the Office of Leadership & Service, LFC brings together passionate undergraduate and graduate students for a nine-week journey of teamwork, creativity, and action. In small, coach-supported teams, participants meet weekly for two hours to design and carry out a project that tackles a cause they care about. Teams receive a budget and administrative support to take their project from concept to completion. Whether you're driven by community service, sustainability, technology, advocacy, or anything in between, LFC empowers you to lead from your values and build something meaningful.

Spots are limited to just 30 participants. Apply now to secure your space and help turn an idea into change. LFC is guided by the Social Change Model of Leadership Development which facilitates growth and development at the individual, group, and societal levels.

LFC STUDENTS:

Make a difference on campus
Make connections with other difference makers
Apply and develop practical leadership skills
Build their resume's leadership experience profile
Earn the LFC Certificate, Credit towards the Student Leadership Certificate, and Leadership graduation cord

Students will further develop their leadership in areas of:

Delegating
Project management
Problem-solving
Team building
Conflict resolution
Interpersonal communication
Budgeting

The Office of Leadership & Service provides student teams with funding, coaching, administrative support, and lunch or snacks. The LFC program may include additional team meetings.
