You’ll learn why scanned documents violate online standards and discover practical methods for creating inclusive course content. Faculty will leave with tools, examples, and next steps for aligning their materials with ADA Title 2 and WCAG guidelines.

• PDF accessibility standards and how to check for compliance using Adobe Acrobat Pro
• Alternatives to scanned PDFs, including Library links, web or eBook versions, and OER
• How to recreate PDFs using accessible Word and PowerPoint files
• Steps to convert documents into accessible PDFs
