About this Event
Faculty, staff, and graduate teaching assistants, play a crucial role in the well-being of students at Georgia State University. Recognizing the signs of distress and knowing how to offer support can make a significant difference in a student's academic and personal life. Join us for "Identifying and Assisting Students in Distress," a workshop hosted by the GSU Counseling Center.
This session is designed to equip you with the tools and knowledge to identify students who may be struggling emotionally, academically, or socially. You'll learn how to approach students with empathy, understand the resources available on campus, and effectively refer them to appropriate support services.
