https://www.gsulawreview.org/symposium-2026/The 31st Annual Georgia State University Law Review Symposium, “Health, Well-Being, and the Law,” brings together legal scholars, practitioners, health experts, and policymakers to examine how law shapes health and human flourishing at every level of society.
This year’s Symposium moves beyond traditional notions of physical health to explore the broader determinants of well-being—including mental and emotional resilience, economic stability, social connection, access to care, and community resources. Law and policy influence each of these dimensions in profound and often under-recognized ways.
Through keynote remarks, expert panels, and moderated discussions, the Symposium will assess whether existing legal frameworks are equipped to support thriving individuals and communities, while highlighting opportunities for reform and innovation.
