Guest Artist Masterclass: Masha Popova, Flute

Flutist Masha Popova, Lecturer in Chamber Music at Baylor University, leads a guest masterclass at GSU. A Curtis and Rice alumna, Popova is Principal Flute with Central City Opera and the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, and a former New World Symphony fellow. She has performed with major ensembles including the Philadelphia Orchestra, Chicago Symphony, Seattle Symphony, and Auckland Philharmonia, and is a prizewinner of the Albert M. Greenfield Concerto Competition and the Young Texas Artist Competition.
