Students thinking about Studying Abroad are eligible to apply for scholarships before being accepting into a semester exchange or summer program. Since last year, the Gilman Program has provided access and opportunity to study abroad for more than 35 undergraduate students, who have gained skills critical to their personal and professional development.

The U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship (Gilman) Program enables American undergraduate students with high financial need to study or intern abroad through scholarships of up to $5,000. Students studying critical need languages are eligible for a supplemental award up to $3,000, and students conducting STEM research abroad are eligible for a supplemental award up to $1,000.
