Do you love games with deep stories? Do you enjoy weird indie games? What about visual novels? We want to help you learn how to make these kinds of games with a simple, free program called Twine.

This workshop is about introducing you to a Twine. After giving you some basic instructions, we will break out into teams or solo developers and work on creating a small project that we can complete within the workshop time.

You need NO PREVIOUS GAME DESIGN EXPERIENCE to come to this workshop, and the goal is to get you from no knowledge to game designer in two hours. Bringing a laptop with Twine preinstalled could be helpful for you, but it is not required because the venue will have computers available.

This workshop is free and open to the public; however, space is limited. Therefore, we kindly ask that prospective attendees please RSVP.

This event is presented by the Creative Media Industries Institute at Georgia State University and hosted by Playtest.
