Please join the College of Law on Thursday, November 7 from 5-6 p.m. in the College of Law atrium for our first annual celebration of the first-generation college graduates and those who are the first in their family to pursue or complete an advanced degree. Connect with members of the first-generation community at the College of Law and learn about the new First-Generation Law Student Association at the College of Law coming in early 2025. At 5:30 p.m., we will take group photo of all the first-generation attendees. 

Light refreshments will be served, and first-generation grads are encouraged to wear teal, which symbolizes inspiration, growth, and uniqueness. 

This event is open to anyone in the GSU community who is committed to addressing the social, academic, emotional, and financial issues relevant to first-generation students.
