DESCRIPTION:Musician CLAIRE CAMPBELL was born into late 70's Southern music
peasantry. She conceived her baby\, Hope For Agoldensummer\, in 2002\, an
d they've been hitting the road ever since. Claire's music is at once abso
rbing\, eloquent\, and haunting. Her albums are lauded for their rich song
 writing\, angel-soul-choir vocals\, and junk-yard instrumentation. You can
frequently find Claire loitering in recording studios\, lending out her v
oice to other folks' albums\, or playing the singing saw for moody film sc
ores!\n\n"The music was exotic\, ethereal\, fragile – full of childlike
wonderment. There were spare arrangements with singing saw\, xylophone\, c
larinet\, acoustic guitar\, strange percussion\, so much reverb that it se
emed to be play-ing in another dimension\, and\, at its center\, one of th
e most jaw-droppingly gorgeous female voices I’d ever heard. The singer
’s voice was booming and haunted\, and the lyrics were full of mourning\
, yet also managed to be hopeful and at times even silly. This was summer
music about winter themes… I began to hear it in my dreams. It colored t
he way I looked at everything around me." - Filmmaker Magazine\n \n\nAbout
