About this Event
This course will provide participants with an understanding of different types of traumas and their impact on individuals and communities, with a specific focus on cultural trauma, poverty, and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). Learners will also develop foundational skills of empathy, genuineness, and respect that are necessary to deliver trauma-informed customer service. The course aims to provide strategies for using empathy to support clients in regulating their emotions, validating their experiences, and problem-solving.
