https://pin.gsu.edu/event/11000627Join us to learn about an interactive mentorship program designed to help students develop leadership and communication skills, build community, and engage in a meaningful service project!
Emerging Leaders is an 8-week leadership mentorship program that pairs first-year undergraduates with upper-level student mentors. Supported by leadership coaches in the Office of Leadership & Service, Emerging Leaders participate in team-building activities, dynamic discussions on personal and professional development, campus involvement, and academic success, and a community service project that fosters friendships and makes a positive impact.
Who Can Participate?
Mentees: First- and second-year undergraduates
Mentors: Sophomores, juniors, seniors, and graduate students who are knowledgeable about GSU resources, able to share valuable academic and college success tips, and committed to providing encouragement and support.
Both mentors and mentees gain opportunities to develop leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, build their résumés with demonstrated leadership experience, earn community service hours, and work toward the Student Leadership Certificate at the Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond levels—awarded at the Royal Flame Awards.
