Speaker's biography: Imani Beverly is a Science Librarian at Georgia State University covering Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Geosciences, Mathematics, Statistics and the Biomedical Institute. She received her BA in Anthropology from Emory University and Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Simmons University. Imani serves as the faculty liaison to the Student Library Advisory Council and is interested in library accessibility and belonging. Before coming to Georgia State, Imani served as a social science librarian at an Atlanta HBCU consortium library and her career has spanned school libraries in Boston, MA and public library management in Louisville, KY.
