Abstract: The Mathematics and Statistics Club, together with the AMS Graduate Chapter and the SIAM Chapter, present: Cristo Rey Atlanta — Tutoring Opportunities, with Susan Brown, Learning Resource Specialist.
Cristo Rey Atlanta Jesuit High School is located near the GSU campus on Piedmont Ave. Susan Brown is going to discuss how GSU students can help Cristo Rey Atlanta students through peer tutoring in a variety of subjects, including mathematics.
This is an excellent opportunity to give back and service the Atlanta community. You were in school once, most of you very recently — and now you can help younger kids enjoy school and see the beauty of math and of other subjects!
