Title: Art of Problem Solving, session four of AY 2024-25

Abstract: The AMS Graduate Chapter at GSU, together with the Math & Stat Club at GSU, the SIAM Chapter at GSU, and the GA Zeta Chapter of Pi Mu Epsilon have organized a series of sessions under the title of "The Art of Problem Solving" for those students who are interested in increasing their knowledge and wish to expose themselves to some higher level problems in algebra, number theory, combinatorics, geometry, and other areas of mathematics. During these sessions, you can learn how to use basic yet non-trivial ideas to solve somewhat unusual problems — which will feel usual and standard to you after you learn some tricks!
