This interactive event, inspired by Alice in Wonderland, invites students to explore their voting rights, engage with hot policy issues, and participate in discussions that challenge their views on democracy.

Through creative debates, discussions, and engaging activities, you’ll not only learn about the democratic process but also be empowered to make a difference in your community. Whether you’re new to civic engagement or a seasoned advocate, Democracy In Wonderland has something for everyone.
What to Expect:
Unlock the Door to Voting Rights:
Discover your rights as a voter, learn how to register, and get informed about the upcoming elections. This segment focuses on why voting matters and how you can make your voice heard.
Panel Discussion: The First Amendment and Fashion (11:15 AM)
This panel will explore the intersection of free speech and self-expression through fashion. Panelists will discuss legal boundaries, recent controversies, and the role of fashion in political movements.
The Tea Party of Hot Issues:
Sit down at the Mad Hatter’s table to discuss some of the most pressing policy issues of our time, such as reproductive justice, the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA), and climate change. Engage with diverse perspectives in a dynamic and lively environment.

The Debate Maze:
Navigate through challenging debates on the First Amendment, voting rights, and equal justice. With facilitators guiding the discussion, you’ll find your way through the complexities of democracy while developing your critical thinking skills.

Connect with community organizers and advocates who are leaders in social change. Discover how you can become involved in advocacy efforts on campus and in your local community.
