Music Major for a Day is an opportunity for prospective students to experience life as a music student at Georgia State University. Participants will attend classes, connect with faculty and current students, explore facilities in downtown Atlanta and gain a closer look at academic programs, ensembles and student opportunities within the School of Music.

2026–27 Music Major for a Day Dates:
• September 24, 2026 (Thursday) — Music Education Focus
• October 22, 2026 (Thursday) — All Concentrations
• November 4, 2026 (Wednesday) — Music Industries Focus
